Experience the Harmony of Indian Culture

Indian culture is a symphony of tolerance and unity. It's a culture that embraces all religions, creeds, and races, promoting peace and harmony. At Sanskriti UK, we're not just about celebrating this diversity; we're about fostering community cohesion. We collaborate with various ethnic communities, breaking down barriers and building bridges of understanding.

Did You Know?

India's culture is not just one of the world's oldest; it's a culture that has stood the test of time, with ancient scriptures such as the Vedas still existing today. It's often described as "Sa Prathama Sanskrati Vishvavara" — the first and the supreme culture in the world.

Namaste - Connect the Indian Way

Namaste, or 'namaskar', is more than just a greeting; it's a connection. This traditional Indian greeting, mentioned in the ancient Hindu scriptures, the Vedas, means 'I bow to you'. It's a way of saying, 'May our minds meet', a gesture of respect that reduces one's ego in the presence of the other. Experience this profound connection with Sanskriti UK.

YOGA

Yoga: The word Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word "yuj" meaning "to unite", "to integrate" and thus may be considered to refer to a "state of union or integration". Yoga is generally understood as the union of the individual soul with the cosmic, divine or supreme soul, that constitutes the ultimate fulfilment of man.

Yoga is presently also interpreted as the ultimate integration of the human personality or as the attainment of the highest or cosmic consciousness or even as the end -point of the evolutionary process; Sanskriti UK fully subscribe to Yoga as a way of life.
